Nuwara Eliya or “Little England” situated 1868 meters above sea level, is a popular, cool getaway to most from Colombo and other parts of the country during the scorching summer month of April. With kids being on school holidays and so many exciting activities happening in NE, it is the ideal place to languish And be pampered.
There are wonderful places of interest to explore and experience in Nuwara Eliya and surrounding towns including Lake Gregory, Ambewela Farm, Hakgala Gardens, Bale Bazzar, Lipton’s Seat, Seetha Amman Kovil and a range of famous water falls AND the horse races happening this month. The magic of the misty hills and the thick, lush greenery with the bite of the chill that engulfs you, will no doubt make you believe that you are in a magical land.
Our Lanka Woman team experienced some of the fabulous accommodation from NE and we share with you a little bit of that heavenly experience in this section.
