The entrance to the main door is through a lobby area paved with stone squares. A cement-block bench is placed to a side facing the house. All main areas of the house spreads out in different directions from the point of entrance itself. Just next to the door itself, to the right, the stairway – done partly in cut-cement steps and partly in timber with a wood topped aluminium railing – leads up to the next floor, then a casual sitting area under a skylight furnished with wrought-iron table and chairs on a stone-paved floor , and then the pantry through which is the kitchen and the servant's quarters. On to the left, at the entrance , the guest bedroom and washroom is situated, while the main sitting and dining area in a long hall, is placed a few steps below the other areas .

Long french windows opens out from the main dining and living area to a verandah proceeded by a long strip garden which is kept clear of any ornamental landscaping to match the rest of the house.Save for a luscious cover of green grass and three tall trees, the garden is simply a place where one can relax peacefully seated in the verandah on the cement block bench , provided at one corner. The two walls which are the back-drops to the dining area and the living area are painted in a dark blue and lilac-pink seperately, with a bamboo-design effect on the pink wall, which beautifully compliments the area. The wall along the stairway is also painted in this same blue, with different square shapes fitted with colourful glass blocks, through which light filters in amply. Upstairs, along a right-angle corridor, the three rooms are set in one end of it while along the rest of the way, a family/TV lounge area and a laundry area is situated.
Each bedroom as well the family/TV lounge area have their own little terrace opening to the outside. From both sides of this right-angle corridor, the areas downstairs are visible since these areas have double-height roof. Both ground and the upper floor, the floor is done in cut-cement with only the sunken living/dining area and the master bedroom floor in hard-wood. Each room is being given it's own individual colour with other little colourful niches placed subtly adding a warmth
to the house. The choice of furniture has been kept to a minimalistic style without too many crowding the areas. This also makes maintenance extremely easy and timeefficient, even without househelp. It is a restful house with minimum knick-knacks except the ones kept to accentuate the surfaces thereon. Crossventilation
and light was ample inside the house due to many open spaces and the trees
sorrounding the site and the interiors were cool even without the use of fans.
