A kitchen is the nucleus of the home. It is where everything happens most of the time : the one place which is common to everyone and the most homely space where everyone get together for the most important activity – meals ! In modern homes, kitchen is no longer tucked away at the back of the house. It is part of the living/dining  space and in most architectural designs, kitchen (pantry) is open to the other public spaces of the house. 

Since a lot of important activities take place in the kitchen, and if you are a working wife/mom, then you would want it to be a very efficient place where you could perform your work in the most efficient manner while your kitchen not becoming an eye-sore for your visitors.  How can you achieve this ?
