What are the most popular flower choices for weddings during this season, and why do you think couples are drawn to them?

Some of the most popular flowers in Sri Lankan weddings this season include roses, orchids, baby’s breath, chrysanthemums, carnations, snapdragons, and tropical blooms like heliconia and ginger. Roses remain a timeless favourite due to their elegance and variety of colours that suit any wedding theme. Orchids lend a sleek, modern touch, while baby’s breath adds simple charm, often used in minimalist arrangements. Meanwhile, tropical flowers bring an exotic flair and hold up well in our warm climate. These choices are not only beautiful but also practical, given their local availability and resilience.
