Sri Lanka is a renowned travel destination. She is armed with an impressive portfolio of terrains from misty hilltop adventures to sandy beaches, scenic lakes and man-made reservoirs as great and wide as the high seas to lush tea plantations and cinnamon estates, forest reserves rife with wildlife, and for quiet solitude – places of worship seeped in historical evidence of a rich, cultural legacy.
