13 June 2018 10:36 am Photos : Nirmala Dhananjaya It was indeed a very pleasant event….The Denim & Diamonds Coffee Afternoon held recently at the Sindhi Club Hall, organized by the SAARC Women’s Association, Sri Lanka Chapter, to mark International Women’s Day. The Association consists of a strong Sri Lankan membership in addition to other members from SAARC countries and has recognition from the SAARC Secretariat in Nepal.  This was their Annual Charity with all proceeds pledged to Women in Need to focus on empowering women and kids who have suffered trauma through gender-based domestic violence.
