The Past Pupils’ Association of Good Shepherd Convent, Kotahena hosted Shepherdian Chapel Chimes, a heartwarming sing-along fundraiser to support urgent repairs to their cherished 156-year-old Chapel. Built by pioneering French nuns, the Chapel stood as a symbol of faith and unity for generations. The event brought together Shepherdians young and old, families, friends, and well-wishers, all united by a shared love for their alma mater. With lively music by BLACK and compering by the ever-spirited Peter D’Almeida, the evening was filled with joy, nostalgia, and community spirit, raising voices- and vital funds- to preserve a beloved spiritual sanctuary.
