She’s a woman who’s had to balance family and work as a single mom for many years. Now her life in Melbourne is another chapter as her children have grown up to be young adults and Roshy lives the laid back Aussie life and moves on.
Mrs. Symons, could you please tell us about yourself?
I am residing in Melbourne Australia and currently on a brief visit in Sri Lanka. I moved to Australia 4 years ago after getting married. It was a hard task adapting to the lifestyle of living permanently overseas even though I have travelled to many countries and been to Australia several times. Life was quite challenging having to juggle between work and household errands yet gradually I have adjusted into a pattern and having a balanced life. I work in Healthcare as a Patient Relationship officer in a leading private hospital. Healthcare was totally a new industry to me. I have a daughter and a son who are both studying at university. They love living in Melbourne and have made good friends here and adjusted in well.
