Could you give us an introduction of yourself?
I am the Managing Director and a dedicated professional who has been fortunate enough to play a significant role in the success of Java Lounge, Sri Lanka’s largest coffee house chain. With a strong educational background in commerce and management, including a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Bangalore and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky, I have honed my skills and expanded my horizons. My passion for business and dedication to excellence led me to establish Java Lounge in 2012, with a vision to create a world-class coffee house experience. Under my leadership as Managing Director, Java Lounge has grown exponentially, earning national and international recognition. Additionally, I serve as an Executive Director at Kapruka Holdings PLC, contributing to strategic planning and overall growth. My journey from building Java Lounge from scratch to becoming the top coffee house chain in Sri Lanka is an inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs worldwide.
