20 June 2025 02:22 pm

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! If you are a bride to be, no wonder you may be having so many questions regarding how to look your best on this most important day in your life. Hope this simple skin care routine will help you especially if your busy life style didn’t allow you much time to take care of your skin. Ideally you should start at least 3–6 months before your wedding, but even a few weeks of good skin care can make a big difference.

Daily Skin care Routine

Morning

Wake up with a smile, being grateful for this new day. Have a positive attitude and believe that your skin is healthy and glowing.

1. Cleanser -  Wash your face using a gentle, hydrating cleanser. Do not rub hard. Just do round gentle movements upwards with your fingers and wash off. Pat dry with a soft towel. Use a cleanser which suits your skin type.

2. Toner -  Use a cotton ball to apply the toner evenly on your skin. Your toner should be Alcohol-free, soothing. It balances your skin PH. Hydrating toners like rose water, aloe vera are good for dry and sensitive skin. For oily skin use one with tea tree.

3. Serum - Use a Vitamin C serum for glow and protection from sun damage.

4. Moisturizer -  Use a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer to hydrate and moisturize your skin. It’s best if it matches your age group and skin type.

5. Sunscreen - This is a must when you go out. Use a Broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher sun screen 30 min before you go outdoors.

If you use makeup daily, you can apply them on top of your sun screen.
