Crab on Toast 

Ingredients :

  • 200 g Crab meat boiled
  • 8 small Dinner buns
  • 50 g Grated cheese
  • 1 tsp White pepper
  • ½  tsp Salt
  • 2 tbs Lime juice
  • 1 tbs Garlic chopped
  • 2 tbs Celery chopped
  • 2 tbs Parsley chopped
  • 2 tbs Onion chopped
  • 1 Capsicum without seeds chopped
  • 50 g butter
  • ½  cup White sauce
  • ¼  cup Fresh cream

   

 White sauce

  •     ½  cup Milk
  •    1 tbs Flour
  •    1 tbs Butter
  •     ¼  tsp Salt
  •     ¼  tsp Pepper

Melt the butter in a pan, add flour and cook for one minute. Add salt, pepper and stir, take off the fire and set a side.

 

Method :

Heat butter in a pan, add onions, capsicums, celery and garlic, add crab meat, lime juice, salt, pepper and cook for few minutes. Add fresh cream white sauce and mix well, remove from fire and set a side.
Slit dinner buns into two and scoop the centre of bottom part and fill the crab mixture into each one sprinkle grated cheese over the crab meat and pre heated oven to 1500c for 10 minutes and bake for 10 – 15 minutes. Serve hot.

 

Tuna Pasta

Ingredients :

  •  200gr Tuna in Oil
  • 200g Penny Pasta / spiral pasta boiled
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 tsp Oregano
  • 150 g Mushrooms sliced
  • ½  cup pasta boiled water
  • 3 Pods Garlic chopped
  • 10 Black olives (pitted)
  •   4 tbs Parsley chopped
  • 2 tbs Tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 100 g Cheese grated
  • 200 ml Cream
  • ½  tsp Pepper
  • ½  tsp Chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 5 tbs Olive oil

  Method :   

Heat olive oil in a pan, add garlic, onions, red chillies, chilli flakes, sliced mushrooms and fry for 1-2 minutes.Add tomato paste, sugar, oregano, tuna flakes, salt and stir well.Add half a cup paste boiled water and cook for 1 – 2 minutes. Add boiled pasta, stir, pour cream over the paste and toss, sprinkle parsley , grated cheese and serve hot.
