It didn’t take long for a country that once had one of the world’s most fierce militaries -that committed a number of atrocities before and during World War II, to surrender and learn from their mistakes. The nuclear attack on Hiroshima and Nagasaki followed by a number of earthquakes and natural disasters made its people realize that they have a bigger role to play in transforming their country. Today, it is not only one of the most developed nations in Asia, but it has also produced some of the finest products in technology that has made life easier for all of us. During a recent visit to Japan, the Lanka Woman experienced its unique culture, while travelling to several attractions in Tokyo, Hiroshima and Kobe.
