Healthy, glowing skin is the key to a woman’s beauty. Th e skin on our face is especially sensitive and vulnerable to damage. With our hectic lifestyles and daily workload, it is easy to forget about taking proper care of our facial skin. But fret not! With some simple, easy, DIY (Do it your self) homemade facial masks you can revive and liven up your facial skin in a matter of minutes. Not only will they nourish your skin, these facial masks are also a great way to relax after a long, tiring day.

Go Bananas! Bananas are a great way to moisturize your skin and leave it looking and feeling soft. To prepare this all-natural  anana facial mask, mash up a medium-sized ripe banana into a smooth paste. Then gently apply it to your face and neck. Let it set for 10 to 20 minutes, then rinse it off with cold water. Yes, it is really as simple as that and you will be amazed at the results. The Oatmeal Miracle If you’re looking for a quick pick-meup that will leave you feeling and looking better, give yourself an oatmeal-facial. Combine 1/2 cup hot—not boiling— water and 1/3 cup oatmeal. After the water and oatmeal have settled for two or three minutes, mix in 2 tablespoons plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 small egg white. Apply a thin layer of the mask to your face, and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Then rinse with warm water. This facial is indeed a miracle worker for your skin! The Papaya Cure Cut a slice of ripe papaya and remove the seeds and pulp. Rub the inside of the papaya peel on your cleansed face, focusing on lines around the mouth and eyes, crow’s feet, thinning temples, neck and hands. Let it dry for 15 to 20 minutes and rinse with tepid water. This mask can be done twice a week. The enzymes in papaya exfoliate, repair sun damage, diminish age spots and smooth skin and will leave your skin looking brighter, with a more polished finish. Avocadoes to the Rescue Don’t toss your avocadoes when they turn that icky brown—instead, use those leftovers in this moisturizing face mask. Regardless of the color, creamy avocados will help moisturize dry skin. To prepare this mask mix one avocado with an egg white and one Tsp of Lemon juice. Scoop one tablespoon at a time and apply evenly on clean face, avoiding the eyes. Let it dry for about 30 minutes and rinse your face thoroughly with warm water. And viola, your dry-skin has disappeared! Yoghurt and Lemon Blast Combine 2 Tbsp plain yogurt with 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice (the juice of one lemon) and apply to your cleansed face and neck. Let it dry for 20 to 30 minutes. You’ll feel the mask tighten on your face and neck, which creates a lifting and firming effect. Leave it on longer (up to one hour) for even more face-lifting effects. Once done, rinse with tepid water followed by a cool rinse. This mask can be done two to three times a week or whenever you need a face lift. This instant face-lifting mask helps fade age-spots, acne scars and even helps keep blemishes and acne in check. It also gets rid of uneven-looking skin tone. Got Milk? Here’s another way to give yourself a fancy spa facial right from your home. Make a mask by mixing 1/4 cup  owdered milk with enough water to form a thick paste. Thoroughly coat your face with the mixture, let dry completely and then rinse with warm water. Your face will feel fresh and rejuvenated. Honey sweet Here is another simple home remedy to repair your damaged skin. Combine 2 Tbsp honey with 1 Tbsp of lemon juice. Apply to your clean face and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse with tepid water followed by a cool rinse. This can be done three times a week. This mask heals, moisturizes and balances the pH of the skin. Honey is a humectant and natural antibiotic that heals and moisturizes while the lemon juice helps balance the pH of skin and soothes damaged skin.
